I only have Plex installed on my NAS, not my PC. I access via the web on my PC. Can you plug the digital tuner into the NAS or does it have to be connected through the PC? I have tried both and Plex does not find the tuner.

That kind of tuner needs to be connected directly to the computer that has PMS installed. Additionally that tuner is not supported on a NAS system. So you will either need to move your PMS install to the PC or you need to purchase a network-based tuner.

I only support Synology and Western Digital NAS. It’s possible I could support many others, but that would require monetary support from users to happen.
I’ve recorded programs perfectly fine on ancient NAS’s with minimal specs and weak CPU. Reading <20mbps from USB and writing it to disk is not an expensive operation.
