When is it the plan to launch live tv for the Windows 10 Plex app?

Just an FYI as frustrating as it is I have never got an answer about any roadmap…
You just gotta sit back and wait and eventually it shows up!

I’d rather the many outstanding bugs were fixed first.

There’s a very long list of features and bug fixes that the UWP app needs to even reach feature parity with the other platforms.
So I wouldn’t hold your breath.

On the other hand, they are advertising “Live TV” across the board. Therefore it should be available on ALL platforms.

Very true.
But considering that we haven’t had an update since June, it’s not looking good.
We very well may get Live TV but I doubt we’ll get it this year.

Well it’s works great on my Fire TV now. I see it’s available from the web app, but can’t get it to work yet. Keeps timing out.

I haven’t given up my Windows 8.1/WMC box yet because Plex hasn’t enabled this for their app. Web LiveTV is nice and all but with a tuner and rural issues with Internet, having this access via my Avermdia 837 Hybrid Tuner in Windows would be soo much nicer!

Why limit yourself to the Plex Windows Store app? Both the web player and the actual Windows app offer live TV and either works very well.

Alright then! Left Emby but it seems I’m going back! Just a short visit of 3 days allowed me to see that the same exact issues are still part of the Plex core (lack of community appreciation and clarity).
