I am not a DVR guy.

Need to know info about your CPU. What are you running ? Container? VM?
Which OS distro & version ?

OS : Debian 10 Buster

You need to update that.

Buster (Debian 10) went EOL August 2022

That’s one part but, before taking that step, I really do need to see your server DEBUG log files which capture this happening.

From there, I’ll know.

The best logs for me are:

  1. Restart Plex
  2. Wait a minute or two for it to stabilize3
  3. Recreate the playback problem
  4. As soon as you do, Stop playback
  5. Download the logs ZIP file

Why did you prune out all the rollover logs ?

Also, You have DEBUG logging disabled. I can’t do anything with “WARN” only messages.

I have the same problem. Live TV is not usable. Shows in DVR recording fine though. Just streaming live not working.
CentOS 9 Stream. Been running 1+ years without issues.
Have to go back 2 revs in plex server to fix the problem.

I don’t have DVR capability so can’t replicate.

Unfortunately, I don’t have any logs for 7639 since I rolled back to 7557. Did I think I did figure out why live TV kept freezing. Version 7639 was causing my NUC to overheat and throttle.

I had a similar issue. I would put on specific channels and every 5 seconds it would freeze, then play. I was running this on an old AMD 8-core processor. I gutted that box and replaced with a dual Xeon processor board. Now that problem does not exist.

So I would look at your processing power. I hope this helps.

Problems remains with Plex Server version : 1.40.0.7998

@Brad_S It’s working fine on iOS or on desktop. Only web plex is not working
