Live TV on Roku?

Is an update to the Roku Plex app rolling out any time soon? I have Rokus all over my house and am very much looking forward to accessing Plex Live TV and DVR on all of our TVs. Thank you in advance for any information you may have,

Posted many, many, many, many times here. Search is your friend.

Plex does not give info on release dates or roadmaps.
Since Roku is an extremly popular device for Plex it is most lkkely coming but there is no official word and most likely never will be until it is released.

When it was released for Android on August 2nd, they said:

(Still waiting for Live TV and DVR features for your favorite device? We’re working on updates to our entire line of Plex apps, so hang tight! Roku, Fire TV, and Smart TVs are coming soon.) https://www.plex.tv/blog/control-time-space-sort/

So, it sounds like the Roku is next in line to receive it.

No, it means they said the other platforms are coming (which is a very rare thing for Plex to do).
While it may well be that Roku is next, it is just a list. Not sure why you would assume what you did, when you assume you make an … well you know how that goes.

Try this in the meantime:

Works on my Roku Ultra & 3.

@rsava

You just assumed that I know the rest of that quote. When you assume you make an … well you know how that goes.

How does “Roku, Fire TV, and Smart TVs are coming soon”, mean that the Roku is not next in line? I never said the Roku was the only thing in line. I answered the question. The update for the Roku is coming soon. I’m not sure why you’re attacking me over that.

No, I did not assume you knew the quote. If you did not then it would have gone over your head and if you knew it you would post something like you did.
How in the world DOES it mean that Roku is next in line? Because it is listed first?
I am not sure why you think I am attacking you. Not everything is an attack.
Need a safe space, snowflake?
(Now THAT was an attack - on your overly tender ego.)

You have a GREAT DAY!!!

Sorry, I guess I’m just used to the people on these forums showing some class. Obviously not all of them do.

Roku is one of three publicly announced platforms to receive the update SOON. It was implicitly stated that Roku will receive the update before Playstation, Xbox, Web, Media Player, Chromecast, TiVo, Windows Phone, etc. That’s how it’s next in line. Anyway, I’m done with this conversation. Good day to you too.
