Looks like incorrect EPG data. Episode 09-25 matches the date, which looks kinda odd. Date is never show here under “On right now”, since it will always be the current date. Time format (could possible also handle date format) can be changed under Settings > Web > General > Time format. But i don’t think it would fix it.
That’s not really a guide issue, it’s more of a display issue. The Plex team are aware that some users would prefer dd/mm/yyyy, however I don’t know any more than that, I’m afraid!
I think mm98 might be on to something. I just realised that the 3rd row of information is a mixture of formats e.g. S12 - E8 and what look like dates but I doubt it is an actual date field.
I take johnm suggestion and post the issue on Guide data issues.
Just wanted to bring this up again. I see numerous other posts across the forum asking about date format, but cannot find any response from Plex staff.
As an aside, it does **not ** seem to be an EPG issue, rather a parsing issue by Plex. Well at least if you open the downloaded SQLite EPG file, you can see that Gracenote labels shows with no Season/Episode available (ie a news program or sports game) with the ‘air date’ instead (see below). I suspect Plex is just grabbing that date and that’s why it shows as both the date AND the Episode.
In file {PMS Location}\Plug-in Support\Databases v.plex.providers.epg.eyeq-{guid}.db you will see entries like… "com.gracenote.eyeq://episode/ABC%20News%20Afternoons/2018-04-09 15:00:00" (for a typical ‘News’ Show) "com.gracenote.eyeq://episode/The%20Big%20Bang%20Theory/2/23" (for a Typical ‘Season/Episode’ Show)
So it seems likely to be Plex, not the EPG to blame.
Regardless of that, the date is still not being displayed in proper regional format. Hopefully it will be addressed across Plex at some stage in the near future.
