Live TV Scrolling very slow on Chromecast

I’ve noticed the Live TV interface scrolling being unbelievably slow in the last couple of weeks. I have been wondering for some time why it is so slow on Chromecast with Google TV 4k but it has become a crawl lately. It’s much faster on my older 3rd Gen Fire TV Stick. Jellyfin using the same DVR setup flies through the interface so it’s not a hardware issue in my opinion.
