I was actually wondering what is happening with Live TV, when you try to view a show? It seems extremely sluggish and only sometimes loads the show (Apple TV).

I am more wondering what is so different from say, MrMC or Channels doing the same thing with HDHomeRun? Is it because Plex is using the Server to transcode the entire ordeal instead of the local player? Again, just kind of wondering why its sluggish. As for loading only sometimes, I assume that is just bugs that will be worked out, since I also know Live TV doesn’t load at all on the Mi Boxes.

mostly bc to play to the Apple tv or IOS products for that matter your Plex server has to transcode the video into something Appletv can play bc plex is using the default Appletv player. Channels or MrMC are using their own players and playing it natively. If you were to play on something like the Shield TV you would see it start much quicker. I have both the Shield TV and the Apple TV.
