I tried steaming live tv on android and it kept stopping every 3 seconds. Horrible
I have 6 mb up 75 down tried on wi did and mobile no difference

Are you streaming from outside of your home lan? Then it is maybe your mobile data speed. I have no issues on android from inside and outside of my home network.
I have 60/6 and my droid works fine remotely. iPad on the other hand doesn’t work at all local or remote.
I have same issue. Running Shield Pro(2017). Live TV works great on iPhone 5s but Galaxy S8 and S6 stop to buffer every 3-5 seconds. will say weak signal. Appears to be an android issue in the Play Store under reviews. many many complaints.
