Live TV through Amazon Firestick

Server Version#: 1.19.4.2935 (running on an WD EX2 Ultra NAS)
Player Version#: 8.2.1.18636 (on firestick)
Tuner Make/Model: HDHomeRun Duo UK
Guide/Lineup name:
Using XMLTV?:
Channel number/Name: Various

I have had this setup for a couple of months now, and overall it is working really well for my needs. The only thing that irritates me a little, and I haven’t identified a cause / fix for is that I get very slight audio issues when watching TV through Plex on my firestick.

It like a very short cut in the audio, that happens very few seconds on most channels, no noticeable issue with the video, only audio.

If I view the channel on the HDHomeRun app on the Firestick it is fine, but the HDHomeRun app doesnt appear to have a full TV guide, just shows what is on now.

Plex will, occasionally, start a channel then completely bomb back out to the Amazon home screen. If I go back into it it will work fine and not do this again.

Has anyone got any ideas on settings or other things to look at to ensure I have it all setup. I have read various threads and information about setup and can’t identify anything specific that may be wrong.

Any and all help is very much appreciated.

Cheers

Just thought I would post a quick reply to see if anyone had any ideas?

The problem has persisted through all versions of Plex on the server and the Firestick as far as i am aware. I have been using it less due to this issue favouring the HDHomeRun app which works fine (so assume it is something Plex is doing?), but does not have a decent TV Guide!

Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.
