Live TV Transcoder Settings?

I just updated my android app for live tv; love the feature!

I noticed when I stream livetv plex media server transcodes the stream before sending to my phone. I get very stuttered playback for livetv since my server isn’t powerful enough to encode h264 at 720p Is there a way to configure PMS to simply repackage the stream instead of transcoding it (like you can do with recordings)? I have an HDHR extend so it’s already mpeg4. Alternatively, is it possible to change the transcoding settings? I know it can handle 480p.

Are you using the Extend to do the trans-coding work for you?
I have the Default Transcode Profile set to heavy on my Extend and my server barely sweats when streaming to my iPad.

I’d like to use the Extend to transcode, but apparently it’s not. I have it set to heavy too, but my cpu spikes when I watch live tv.
