I have a Windows 10 based server and configured live TV / DVR from an HDHomeRun HDHR5-2US. The DVR function works great with so signal issues. Streaming to FireSticks, Android Phones, and Shield TV works great on LAN or over internet. However, live TV always says weak signal (which I know is not the case), and it cuts out every 10-30 seconds. If I use the HDHomeRun app the picture is clear and does not cut out. Again, if I DVR the same show, it works fine. I have tried trans-coding real time, and lowered and raised the video quality with no luck. My server memory and CPU max at about 30% when trying to stream live TV. Any thoughts on the issue?
Have you tried this plugin for LiveTV?
So this plugin should be used instead of the built in Plex functionality? After briefly reading the page you linked, I’m not sure what this is supposed to do. I really appreciate your response! Thanks!
Yeah thats right…
It was developed before Plex had built in LiveTV or DVR support.
Personally due to the functionality of the Plugin I prefer its current setup and don’t use the Plex built in Live TV.
And as a fun side note clients that currently don’t have LiveTV support from Plex can use this plugin to watch LiveTV 
Does this or any other plugin also support DVR functionality?
This does not provide DVR and I am not aware of any plug-ins that do DVR.
You can use any other DVR like nextpvr or mythtv and save to a path Plex can see and it will be added to your library.
