Is there any possibility to set up live tv channels without EPG file? I get an HDHomeRun CONNECT Quatro and it works great with my server (I must use another app for TV live streaming). Everything is because plex is not allowed me to add channels without an correct EPG. To make the story shorter is that the country where the tuner and server is installed doesn’t have any epg support for a lot of digital channels. Means that plex will not add the live tv option.
I really hope that plex developers will modify this feature and allow users to add live tv channels without EPG. I don’t care about dvr or some channels informations. I just need to watch live tv…

I was searching on topics and reddit and are many members what are asking for same stuff. Official nobody from plex was answered in the past years.
I start already using Jellyfin and it works great with everything. Maybe I will get out from plex even that I paid for plex pass.
Seems like the plex developers are more focused for new logo, startup sounds than the real users problems and requirements. In the past updates plex is working more and more bad. Sync for audio/video is more often now, live tv can’t be used without EPG and so on.
I know that this topic will be closed without any answer but maybe plex support will open their eyes and check the user requirements and problems.
I managed with some mix epg from other channels to work on plex also. Is not the correct way but at least it works for a moment. Anyway Jellyfin is more better for live tv at this point.
