Live TV without xmltv file possible?

Hi
I just want to setup a HDHomeRun CONNECT QUATRO as a live TV source on my Plex Server. Because I do not have any xmltv file, setup cannot be done. Is is possible or not to setup the Live TV feature (without DVR function) on a Plex server?

Do you live in an area where Plex doesn’t provide an EPG?

Normally you only add a zipcode during setup: Live TV & DVR (Set Up and Manage) | Plex Support

Yes, I am in an area where Plex doesn’t provide EPG, therefore I am prompted to enter a locally stored xmltv file. My aim is to use the Plex TV server only for remote streaming (outside the local area network) of the live TV signal and not the recording function. It seems it is impossible to be done, without the xmltv file. Stupid, sw however…
