As the title says. No LiveTV home DVR for the Apple device apps.
I have a couple of HD Homerun units and they configured fine with the server.
I can find a Plex Live TV when I select More. But under Android and Web, there is a LiveTV category with my Plex server called “Family” which displays all my OTA channels but nothing of the sort (meaning my OTA setup) when using iPadOS and AppleTV apps. The Plex LiveTV channels appear.
You will find Live TV on Apple devices, in Plex Library. Navigate to More menu and at the bottom of Navigation Menu Expand Plex on Apple TV, iPad no need. Pin your Live TV Library so it is available from main menu.
Recent Channels will also appear on the Home page, after you have watched some of your OTA channels.
To Rank your Libraries and move Live TV and TV series towards the Top for quick access on iPad, Select Edit, Long press on the Hamburger Menu ≡ and move Library after Library up or down. Press Done.
Apple TV: To Rank Select Library Ellipsis ⋮ to be able to relocate Library.
On a iPad:
Now on the off chance, you may need to Restore defaults, on the Home page of the iPad top right of display use the Horizontal Ellipsis ⋯, Restore Defaults. On the Apple TV, Navigate to Home page, left of Home Tab you will find a Vertical Ellipsis ⋮ to Restore Defaults. This requirement seems to happen after a Rebuild of your OTA Channels on your Server.
Please note: You will need to Pin and Rank your Libraries again to your preference. It will be best practice to restart devices on completion.
Restore Defaults was the solution for the Apple devices.
