Intermitent problem Live TV channels saved as Favorites guide data will disappear after the plex app has been open for a bit. If I watch a few shows on my server then go to “Live TV” my favorites menu shows “Live TV appears to be offline,” if I go one over to my server all the channels show and quickly tune to it. Anyone else?
I have exactly the same problem on my NVIDIA Shield running the Plex Media Server just installed yesterday. Used to work but now I can’t even remove the favorites that clearly are available in the tab next door.
Doesn’t appear to be a priority to whoever looks at this forum.
Glad to know I’m not alone. I’m learning Plex does a lot of things great, but the Live TV features are an afterthought. cough ATSC 3.0 /cough
Even a blind dog finds a bone sometimes… Go to the three dots to the right of “Browse SHIELD Android TV” and select manage favorites. Then delete all of your favorites. Then add all of your favorites back from your working guide listings.
I believe there is some sketchy stuff going on with the coding that relies on the guide listings and the favorites are just displayed versions of the actual guide. Since the guide building activities also take several attempts to get all the area code listings figured out, I had to delete my DVR several times and rebuild it. I guess the favorites list doesn’t get deleted with the DVR and it becomes disconnected.

Thanks, I deleted them on the ipad app and re-added them (easier than the Apple TV app,) seems fine at the moment on ATV. Will report back if the problem comes back.
So I checked yesterday and the favorites became “not available” again. Close the app and relaunch it and it’s fine.
