Greetings. I’ve run into what I’d consider a UI bug.
Because the schedule flips over to the next programming block a minute or two ahead of schedule, when the currently playing program is no longer displayed I’m not able to tune to that channel and am instead presented with the option to record the upcoming program. This makes it impossible to tune channels during the time just between 30min segments unless the program had already begun during a previous 30min block.
Eg. It’s 7:29 and a new program is starting at 7:30 on another channel. The guide has already updated to the next 30min block so the currently playing program is no longer displayed. Attempting to select the program on the other channel only provides the option to record. There is no option to tune to that channel nor select the currently playing program on that channel. I hope that’s clear…?
I’ve only recently updated my Plex on Roku this week so just ran into this issue. Have experienced it a couple times in the last week. The old UI also provided a way to select and tune to a channel by selecting the channel icon itself on the guide, rather than the programming block. I no longer see this option which, if still present, would at least allow me to force a tune when the currently playing program is no longer displayed…
