I have tried Live TV on plex using my iPad and whilst this works fine externally, when i’m on my home wifi the live tv is constantly trying to buffer and never actually starts to play. I’m presuming this is due to transcoding. Is this something to do with my setup or is this a general issue others are experiencing?

it was on recommended for home streaming
I’ve tried a few other quality settings, the 3Mbs 720p played briefly as did the 1080p 8 Mbs but then the spinning wheel appeared again and it was constantly buffering.
it worked when set to 480p on my home network but was buffering any higher bitrate. This is quite odd as when I’m out and about and on 4G it runs fine even on 1080p
Hmmm. Any chance you could provide some client and server logs from when this occurs?
