Live TV frequent buffering or stream not playing on iOS

I have been having issues where the live tv won’t begin or buffers frequently and I get a weak signal error. Not sure what the weak signal means, network or OTA. I am on iOS client version 4.12.1. Stream over 5 gHz AC wireless. My HDHR Connect works fine with the Channels 2.0 app and my Tablo tuner streams just fine ( I know the Tablo is transcoding on the fly).
I see that my server is transcoding the mpeg2video to h264 and the audio from AC3 to AC3.
I am using an Intel Celeron G540 but have not had any issues with transcoding single streams on the fly previously.
I have attached logs.

Same here, i am on a low powered nas for a server though with hdhr extend, not sure if transcoding is getting me or what.

IOS currently requires transcoding for every stream right now, on both Extends and Connects. We’re actively working on figuring out the cases where direct play DOES work and enabling them.
