I created a second user that has some limited access. This allowed me to select either that account or the main account (which requires a pin). After another friend added me, the second account became an account listed under friends and that friend is now a user that I can select, including her picture when I launch Plex.
Any ideas on how to reverse this?
It sounds as if you joined your friend’s Plex Home. Which you shouldn’t have done, because it caused the destruction of your own Plex Home.
There was a message on screen which told you that.
You must leave this Plex Home.
Then you must ask your friend to invite you again, but this time only as a Plex Friend, not as a member of your friend’s Home.
You must also re-create your own “second user”.
There is no way to restore it.
There was no message. Also, I still get to my own Plex/Plex Home; I see my server and my On Deck and everything. The new friend is in my plex home, not vice versa. My own secondary user is no longer there but is in my friends list.
You have joined your friend’s Plex Home. You need to leave it.
