Hello I am new to unraid (a couple months) but have previous docker experience and have been using plex for almost 6 months mainly to host my music library. I Have recently upgraded my dedicated server from a ubuntu server to Unraid. Just today I made another change to my unraid server adding another disk to serve as a cache while changing the existing cache disk to an unassigned drive because I was planning on setting up some kind of VM with it in the near future. However, after starting up my docker containers on the new cache drive, they all seems to lose their metadata. Oops i forgot to back them up but it wasn’t to big a deal to reconfigure them all in about an hour. Plex however, I cannot get back to a working state. It seems like a 50/50 change when i log in that I get a no soup for you message. This is weird to me because I always use the direct ip of the server when connecting locally and only connect remotely when I am on my phone away from the house. Beyond that when i do get logged in, there is no server source listed and no server settings found in the settings anywhere. I cannot figure out how to reset my server so to speak. I would not mind reclaiming and rebuilding my library since it wasnt particularly big so I do not care about my metadata really.
I found this link, Why am I locked out of Server Settings and how do I get in? | Plex Support this is what is happening to me except I am running plex on unraid in a docker container and do not know how to go about even troubleshooting since I have no clue what is going on. I would appreciate some help as I hold a plex pass and do not know what to do!! Is there a way that I can unclaim any existing server and allow this one to be configured as a new one? Why am I not allowed to access Plex via direct ip? How can i unclaim a server that I am apparently blocked out of?
