Locked out of server access - with no server available

I’m SLIGHTLY irritated. I’ve been paying for plex for quite some time now and now that it’s UNUSABLE they have no support available.

This forum is not going to solve my problem. But I’m posting it here ANYWAY so I CAN give them the FINGER.

After installing Plex. When Plex loads it says INTITIALIZING forever.

When I close that and pop up local address for plex, it says

Not authorized

You do not have access to this server.

You may be able to claim it by choosing “Open Plex…” from the Plex menu in the macOS menu bar or Windows system tray. For more troubleshooting tips, see our … ETC ETC ETC.

I have followed the links and followed the steps. I have CREATED A NEW USER NAME AND PASSWORD FFS. Nothing is working. the server has BIT the ■■■■■■■ dust.

Wait lemme back up, there is no SERVER. I deleted that computer’s information and data. I have the content available. But the actual server is GONE. Now why can’t I start a new server? Cause plex sucks.

I’m pissed. Refund me or something.

Try You need to reclaim your server, but don't dare to touch the Windows Registry

Method 2.2 should enable you to change whatever user account you want to use and reclaim the server.

the server as far as plex is concerned has been deleted.

its a ridiculous situation that cannot be resolved on my end. i have formatted the computer and started over. i have made a new account and logged in. i have done everything i am deleting my account.
