I have a MacBook at home which is connected to an external hard drive.
When the screensaver kicks in, I usually unlock it with my fingerprint but periodically it requires me to manually type in my password.
It’s a security feature that kinda makes sense but unfortunately, despite the fact that the computer is awake behind the screensaver, the password entry thing stops Plex playback.
Major bummer.
Currently I have to wait until I get home on Tuesday until I can play music again after I input the password.
I then have to decide whether to just not have a locking screensaver or configure some kind of remote access.
So, not exactly Plex’s problem, but I wondered if this was a known issue & whether there was any kind of solution that I can use now?
