Locking movie posters?

Is there anyway to lock movie posters you’ve selected like you can lock other text fields so that when you update metadata, the poster doesn’t get changed?

If not that, does anyone know how to pull the latest movie scores from IMDB or MovieDB without refreshing all metadata?

Movie posters automatically lock if you choose another poster.

The scores are retrieved and then stored on your system. If they do not match, then you will need to refresh the metadata.

hence if you want to keep the initial poster you first select another poster then select the first one. Goofy, isn’t it.

Yeah, I know. I asked for a button like the others, but it didn’t happen.

Yeah, that sucks. I only select the posters for the ones that I really hate the default on, which means the majority that I like as they are, are unlocked… but so often when I refresh metadata, it changes the default one that I previously liked.

Ugh. All because I just want to pull the latest movie scores from IMDB for all movies in my library.

Check the agent that @ZeroQI has created that will pull all of the posters, backgrounds, and data, etc. and atore it so that Plex uses it if all of the posters change. It is called Lambda and it works really well!

Thanks! I’m looking into Lambda now.
