I have selected custom movie posters for hundreds of my movies and there doesn’t seem a way to revert my changes. I can always pick a different poster, but then that poster becomes the permanent Poster instead.
Does anyone know a way I can go back to having the Poster automatically selected when I perform a “Refresh Metadata” in PMS?
Unfortunately, there isn’t a way to do this from the UI. The poster field automatically locks when you select one. The only ways I can think is to either do a Plex Dance of the files or manually edit the database to remove the lock.
Doesn’t it unlock the posters if you select “Unmatch” for all the movies? And if you have no poster.jpg in your folder the LMA can’t select any local metadata.
Or deleting the library and adding it again…
It’s not suppose to. Once a field is locked, it is intended that it will not change, ever.
