Look in the Plex app settings on the Apple TV.

In the Plex LG app the option is Console Log Overlay.

Should be similarly named in Plex app on Apple TV.

Apple TV frame rate drop on 2.16 update w. Enhanced Player

I checked the logs but I don’t see any obvious issue Do you have “Match Content Frame Rate” enabled in the tvOS settings? Also in the app settings you can enable Show Enhanced Video Player Debug Overlay, it will show an overlay with tech info on top of the video player, with some relevant data like the number of dropped frames. Could you enable that and keep an eye to the number of dropped frames? In theory, when the problem you describe occurs, that number should be increased. Could y…
