I am getting this error in the DVR Schedule for everything trying to record now.
Recording Failed. Please check your tuner or antenna.
If I manually click record in the guide mid show (starting it after the show is already playing) the show records. But the next show that should automatically record has the same error above.
This made me think I should delete/cancel recording all the existing shows that have been setup to record and set them back up again. That didn’t fix the problem. I installed the hdhomerun watching app and shows play from the tuner on my plex media server console. so there isn’t a firewall block or bad hardware.
Try deleting the DVR in Plex and re-adding it. All of your recording schedules (as seen on recording priority column of the DVR Schedule tab) will be kept, so you won’t have to set those back up.
