I thought I had it all working. Except I then discovered that I was not seeing all of the shows/films set to record on the DVR Schedule.

Plex Media Server.txt (4.4 MB)

So I think that was the reason some were failing to record with the above message.
I then deleted the DVR (Its a USB WinTV-soloHD) and re added.
On setting up the channels, I spotted that there are now 2 lines for e.g.:
1 BBC One E Midlands. One is selected, the other is grey and not selected or matched.

I left it as it was. I suspect some data is still left in the system?

Now nothing works. I cannot watch or record anything. I did get a film to restart (I thought)

When I search for “ERROR” in the Server log, I get 479 mentions…

Can anyone point me in the right direction please?
I know the TV works, as when I fire up the WinTV 10 player it plays.

OK, got a bit further. T help anyone to help me

Here are the logs after a restart.

I am not sure what I am reading, but there is a suggestion that there is zero signal for the channell:

But deleting the tuner and reinstalling does not help… :frowning:

managed to get this a bit further. I took advice from this thread:

deleted the epg data, and reinstalled the DVR, with multiple stops and restarts of the plex sever along the way.
It initially I was excited it would work, as the signal for the stations found were 5 now and previously were 4. The duplicate channel listings has gone, there is only 1 number 1, if that makes sense.

However on trying to play the first channel, BBC 1 it just hung. The initial background image came up, but nothing else. On selecting different channels it seems to warm up, but still lots of spinning circles and hanging.

We will see how the recording goes.
