I’ve tried this on both the Web interface (on the HTPC machine hosting the Plex server), as well as an Xbox One, both with the same results.
Firstly, I’m using “unsupported” Avermedia dual-tuners (two of them, so 4 tuners all up), which worked perfectly fine in Windows Media Centre (windows 7).
I’ve now upgraded to Windows 10 with a Plex Pass account to give it all a try. When I click on the Live TV and start to view anything, I get a long pause of around 10 seconds, and I get a repetitive glitching sound lasting 3 - 5 seconds (it’s actually probably 0.5 seconds of the Live TV audio that repeats over and over), and then the actual TV stream (and audio) starts properly.
If I then change the channel, it’s fine - it’s only when I view Live TV from the main dashboard that I get the long pause and glitching audio.
Is this a Plex thing or tuner related?
