When using Watch Together, if one of the group pauses for some time (say a long bathroom break, or to make a drink) that takes long enough for the screensaver to kick in (Amazon FireStick 4K) the individuals can select “continue playing” from the correct timestamp in the movie, but are then each watching an individual stream, and not synced. On the other hand, if all members return to the watch party, the show starts over from scratch; there is no “resume” option.
Sidenote: on the Plex Dash, only the host’s stream is shown; the fact that other members watched the movie is not recorded, so they don’t show as ever having watched. The dashboard shows both the local and remote bandwidth lines on the graph, but not the other viewers.
