Mod Edit: Combined threads, as they both involve moving PMS to a new computer.
Are you positive that this article on moving an PMS install ( x86 install) to a new destination computer (PMS install x64) is up to date? No one appears to have a better solution, so I will follow this not the youtubes videos that say how to move the PMS install. As I mentioned, my first PMS archive copy from the source machine and then extraction to the destination machine did not work out, it lost custom move posters. I will try again, and see if I get a different result. Thanks for the reply

I tried again to migrate my custom posters from one PC to another using windows 10. I used the suggestions https://support.plex.tv/articles/201370363-move-an-install-to-another-system/
I followed it to the letter and the custom posters do not transfer. I would love to talk to someone who successfully transfered their 100s of custom collection folders and successfully transferred to the new machine. Thanks.
