Here is my setup:
Windows 2012R2 with 12TB storage. I have all of my media here, Set up with Windows CIFS and NFS shares for the content.
Also have fully functioning PMS (current release) on Windows 7, that accesses this content server and all works just fine.
New Ubuntu server (18.10) with PMS installed.
I am having the heck of a time getting my mounts to work correctly. Here is where I am lost
- If I simply create the mounts, the permissions to see the contents are NOT there.
- If I chmod/chown the mounts then is messes with the windows permissions as well.
- What is the best approach to settting this up so I can mount the content, and not mess my windows permissions.
- I DO have a plex user on the Windows content server. is there a way I can map to that from Ubuntu?
