Jjst a quick question.
I run PLEX server on a windows PC with smb attached NAS’s
I want to move to linux PLEX server but cant see how to add the NAS to the Plex library?
Do I need to mount the NAS then add to library of is there away for PLEX to find the NAS’s???

With Linux you will need to mount the SMB shares from your NAS.

The basic checklist
Prepare the NAS
Create the CIFS/SMB credentials file for use in /etc/fstab
Create a ‘mount point’ directory structure on your Linux machine which will be where all your media shares are grafted and made available for Plex use.
Create an entry in /etc/fstab for each share you wish to mount.

M8ken did you find your solution yet? I have plex running on LINUX with cifs file systems setup in /etc/fstab to mount the file systems that plex see, its pretty easy but can be a little perplexing to people not used to linux.
let me know if you need assistance or some pointers on linux side.
