Look in the Updates folder in the Plex Data Folder. The installer for the three previously installed versions should be there.

I don’t have it why I’m asking, for some odd reason I only have 3 updates in there and their old as dirt

FYI, I never had any luck downloading from the server button, this is probably why there is nothing there, I always had to manually download it, always took to long to do it through the server. Unfortunately all my copies of previous Versions were lost on a HD crash.

FWIW, I’ve been running PMS 1.43.1.10576 on one of my servers since it was beta. I’ve not had any problems with it. I’m also running 1.42.2.10156, and it is quite stable.

If you were having problems with Plex earlier today, it may be due to DNS issues with systems at plex.tv. It definitely affected remote access (all versions). The problems have been resolved.

Delete the old versions in the Updates folder. Not hurting anything, but taking up space.

thanks @FordGuy61, but remember we’re working with this wacked system here, I’ll take your word for it, and give it a shot, but I still want the old version to fall back on just in case, the link is all Linux downloads but I’ll figure it out from there.

Well, linux downloads are first but Windows is right after linux. I looked and the version you want is there

If you want 1.42.1, then go with it.

I’ve 1.42.2 on my production server - the one friends & family access remotely. Yeah, the release has been out for 6+ months, but it is stable, does everything I need (stream movies & shows), and there is no compelling reason to update.

1.43.1 is on my test server. I stream from it and have not noticed any problems. However, understand if you want to hold off on it.
