There needs to be a way to customize what you see on the home screen. I don’t like a bunch of recommendations; that is what the Discover tab is for. I want to see my most recent TV shows first, not movies. I want my most recent channels back on my home page. Give us back control, not just on iOS but on all platforms.
First of all, I am not defending the new mobile apps at all, they’re garbage. With that out of the way, we can fix your issue!
The iOS app mirrors a lot of the settings in your server. To disable Plex recommended streaming content go to your Plex web, settings, online media sources, disable what you don’t want.
To rearrange the Home Screen on the iOS app, tap and hold on the Libraries button at the bottom and then make sure the libraries you want are favorited and in the right order you want.
Lastly if you want to adjust what is shown from your libraries on the Home Screen go to Plex web, settings, Libraries, then click manage library and you can select which content is displayed on the home page.
