I’ve just opened Plex on my iPad to find my home page changed, without any warning or option not to have the change.
I can’t seem to find a way to customise the home page now, and it had trailers and other discover things on which I don’t want.
This has changed since this morning.
WHY Plex. Please stop pulling this crap.
EDIT: I’ve completely disabled discover in the server settings, but why isn’t this client specific.
You can’t customize the home page? Are you signed in to Plex on the iPad after the whole password reset logged us out?
Yes. The only option I have is to “Restore Defaults”
screenshot please. I should say I have no idea why this happened. I’m just trying to see what state your iPad is in to offer advice how to get back to where you were if possible.
You edit what shows on home page in ay given app by pinning or unpinning enabled sources in the side bar. Open side bar click edit and then click the push pin icon so it turns grey to unpin something from home screen the hit Done. You can view or re-pin it by going under MORE and doing the same. (if you disable completely then it won’t be avail at all in any app)
in this image i have unpinned Discover so when I hit done it will be gone from home screen.
Was the Plex Home sidebar set to default during the password reset + sign out of all devices?
I fixed so many players I can’t remember what my iPad did, thanks.
Mine did the normal asking me to customize wizard on like first launch with everything pinned and had to unpin what I did not want for that app.
