Loudness Analysis not working for past year

Server Version#:1.19.5.3112 (on Synology NAS)

Hi. Looks like my loudness analysis hasn’t been working for a while now. I first noticed some songs showed the loudness graph in plexamp, but some didn’t. After further investigation it seems none of my songs I’ve added in the past year or so have had loudness analysis done on them - I checked via Get Info in the Plex web UI. My older songs have the loudness analysis.

After investigating in these forums I found the idea to manually run the loudness analysis via the CLI. Tried that too and it didn’t seem to even start to run (though I triggered a scan from the CLI without issue). Server>Library setting for “Analyze audio tracks for loudness” is set to scheduled task.

I can’t think of anything else to check. Everything suggests that the loudness scan just won’t start running.

FYI, I’ve Sonos speakers on my network. I see this other post that suggests Loudness analysis breaks some functionality on Sonos/Alexa. Has it been deliberately disabled in the background by the Plex product team?

How can I get loudness analysis working again?

Small update: my NAS had always been set to shutdown 2 hours after nightly scheduled Plex jobs started. I changed it to never shutdown, and I see that loudness analysis has been running successfully through the night since. Maybe I just wasn’t giving it enough time in the maintenance window to get through albums. Considering none of the albums of the past year seemed to have loudness analysis done, I’m still suspicious something was broken. But nightly jobs seem to be processing loudness analysis successfully now, so hopefully all is solved.
