I have just discovered that none of my managed users (my wife or my son) are able to view lyrics by using Lyric Find, but I don’t have this issue on my account. It works for me when I switch to my account on either PC, Android or iOS. But the minute I switch to her account, it becomes disabled with an error message that says, “Couldn’t retrieve lyrics. Try again later.”
We’re all using Plex Home and Managed Users and I have an active Plex Pass. This did not use to be the case as my wife was always able to view the lyrics for most of our music library. I thought my Plex Pass was enough for my Home, which it is according to all the resources I’m seeing on Plex.
Any ideas what I can do to revert to normal functionality?
I’ve been having the same issue for a few weeks or more. Managed users have lyric loading problems but the Plex Pass owner has no problem. It hasn’t always been this way, in the past users were able to view lyrics.
-Plexamp says “You are going to have to make up your own lyrics to this song.”
-Plex for Windows app says “There was an error loading the lyrics”.
-Plex app (Android) says “Couldn’t retrieve lyrics. Try again later.”
-https://app.plex.tv/ says “There was an error loading the lyrics”.

My wife recently logged into her Plex account on her iPad and she was able to see lyrics again! Can anyone confirm it is now working again as intended?
Not at first when I tried it but then I noticed a PMS update available. After the update to v1.42.1.2926-415b0e14 lyrics are working for managed users.
I’m sorry, I posted the Plex for Windows app version earlier. My PMS version is 1.25.9.5721 and I had upgraded from 1.25.6.5577 when I noticed lyrics started working again.
