When streaming audio files from my Seagate Personal Cloud, with the included Plex App, to my laptop PC running windows 10 using the Plex App, Lyric Find work well.

When streaming audio files from my Seagate Personal Cloud, with the included Plex App, to my Samsung Smart TV (2017 model), Lyric Find doesn’t work.

When I checked prior discussions, one says that smart TVs are not supported. On the Plex website I found “Current App Support” “The following Plex apps currently support displaying lyrics for tracks from your library” “Smart TVs”!

the actual adding of lyrics from lyric find is done on your server. if you have lyrics, whether from LyricFind or local lyrics yes it does work in our smart tv app

Thats my problem! I have a Plex server on my Seagate Personal Cloud, in “agents” I’ve checked all “Lyric Find” to enable and dragged them up to 1st place. But NO lyrics show up on the TV!

You need to rescan all your media to add lyrics metadata to them. it won’t just show up the second you enable that.
