Mac app cannot 'see' AppleTV to fling to it (but iOS device can)

My Plex Desktop for Mac app cannot see my AppleTV in order to fling to it. Is this a known issue (or is it just me)?

My iPhone and iPad can see my AppleTV just fine.

I can’t check if http://app.plex.tv/ has the same problem as it cannot even see any content on my server. I am adding this as I’m not sure if this is a related issue or not.

Accessing http://<local_Ip>:32400 can also see my server content but cannot see the AppleTV.

All other devices (remote & local) have no problem accessing content on my server .

http://app.plex.tv/ works fine on my iPhone (and a remote Mac) so I assume the problem is limited to my local Mac.

OK, I posted too soon.

I restarted my QNAP (which Plex sits on) and Plex Desktop can now see the AppleTV just fine. Not sure why, but not complaining either!

http://app.plex.tv/ still does not see any content, but I’ll start a separate thread for that
