Same issue as : Downloads in low quality even though Downloads setting for Video Quality = Original
Setting for video downloads is Original, but I’m getting terrible low quality 480p downloads of 1080p files. Seems to be related to the connection speed I have back to the server, but I haven’t been able to confirm this. It shouldn’t matter what the connection speed is though if I’ve asked it to download the original.
This sounds like it’s been a problem for at least a few months now. Not sure if it’s specific to the Mac desktop player, but it’s pretty annoying.
