My PLEX server running on my Intel Mac runs great. My PLex server at my other place ran fine on an Intel Mac but I’m having issues on installing the LIBRARY on a M1 Mac. MOVIES loads fine including all sub-level folders but when I go to the same media server, it will not allow me to load TV SHOWS. The error message at the bottom reads something like THIS COULD NOT BE COMPLETED.
The files play fine (I can open and view them on quicktime fine), and the same files run fine on my home Plex Intel mac server.
Am I on target that there’s an issue with the server running on M1 Macs??
That depends… are you running the M1 PMS preview or the official PMS (via Rosetta)?
If you’re running the preview, you best share your logs and experience in the linked thread.
If you’re on the official PMS, your server logs might still be helpful in figuring out what’s wrong…
I think I’m running the main release under Rosetta (Server Ver. 1.28.2)
I have DL the logs, where do I send them to? Thanks.
(BTW, PLEX runs fine on my iphone & ipad so the issue seems only to be the Roku TV app (Ver 7, Build 13). My friend with a Samsung smart TV has the exact same issue, she also switched to an M1 Mac).
