I have a MacMini that is used solely for PLEX. Currently I watch PLEX through my latest version AppleTV connected to my AVR.
Is there any benefit/noticeable difference connecting my Mini directly to my TV or AVR vs using the PLEX app on the Apple TV?
For those of you that are going to say, “Try both and see”, I have a wife, 3 kids, 2 dogs and more than a full time job and I don’t have time for A/B comparisons and wiring/re-wiring and viewing, blah, bah,blah…
I would just like a simple answer if I will get a better viewing experience watching directly from the 2018 Mini or if watching directly from the 2018 Mini is the same as watching through the latest AppleTV and app.
