It’s taken me a little while to be able to get around to testing plex 0.9 with the MakeMKV plug-in. But good news! Plex is now able to stream the .ts files from MakeMKV streams. However plex still doesn’t support M2TS files.
This means it’s now able to play back blu-rays in plex. So this means i’m starting to work on the MakeMKV plug-in once more to get it up to speed so we can all enjoy the benefits of blu-ray playback on our macs.
Check back here for news. I’ll try and have a new release of the plugin here in a couple of days. After some of the bugs are ironed out we’ll start the app approval process.

That’s great you’re working on it. It seems to me that most Blu-rays are m2ts files? I look forward to trying it out when you post it.
Most blu-rays are m2ts. but makemkv lets you stream them as .m2ts or just .ts

I didn’t realize that. So, that should make the plug-in easier?
I can’t wait to try this plug in … I am using MakeMKV to rip BR for the time being … but it would be way easier to stream them.
Keep us posted !
