Making movies appear as a list

I have managed to make my Home Videos as a list, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to do the same for my Movies - they just appear as a large image which makes scrolling through them quite tedious. Is there a trick or is this not possible?

Which Plex app type are you using?

The “table view” mode is available in the Plex web app and the desktop apps.

The “big screen” apps like e.g. Android or Plex HTPC are a bit more restricted in this regard.
I recommend you to put the movie library into “sorted by title” mode. This makes the jump letter bar on the right side appear, which you can use to quickly move around a large library. Or make use of the filters at the top.

I am using the web browser, but then I’m looking at my movies through the app on my Apple TV which also has it’s own agenda and which doesn’t like being told what to do!!

Thanks for the reply. I’m new to using Plex, so I guess it’s all about learning the idiosyncrasies of what’s possible and what’s not.
