I share my Plex account with younger family members. My HDHomeRun has access to channels that include channels that have content that isn’t appropriate for 7 year olds.
It would be nice if we had the ability to either Label TV Channels with a Content Rating so that you can make it so a PG-13 Channel isn’t visible for a kid who is restricted to not seeing PG-13 or R rated content.
Alternatively it’d work if we had a Allow Only & an Exclude option in the LIVE TV & DVR ACCESS section of the Restrictions section for a User.
The Current behavior is that you can either Choose No Live TV & DVR Access or Allow Live TV Only or Allow Live TV & DVR Access
Yeah, that’s why I created this Feature Suggestion. I never needed it because the Live TV wasn’t enabled for any of my child users, but now I was trying to add them & saw no options for regulation. & it seems if the program is rated TV-MA or R or whatever the Kid account that can’t see anything over TV-PG or PG can watch them Live, just not recorded. & it’s not a tuner or EPG issue, The Plex Channels, I just tested & Dog The Bounty Hunter is rated TV-14, but the Plex Channel, which I cannot restrict, either on for all users or off for all, lets that account watch a TV-14 show with no issue.
That’s not okay.
