Manage Library, Manage Recommendations not working

Server Version#: 1.24.5.5173
Player Version#: multiple: (Web 4.70.0) (Plex Media Player 4.29.2)

To recreate the issue:

  1. Go to: Server Settings: Manage, Libraries section
  2. Hover over any listed library and select “Manage Recommendations”,
  3. Selecting the check boxes under “Home” or “Shared Users’ Home”, the settings fail to apply, the check boxes deselect themselves and the desired content never appears on the home page.

I have tried this with both Microsoft Edge and Firefox browsers.
I tried the “Reset Customization” option and this did not help.

I can get everything to work except for TV Shows. It absolutely will not save any selection choices. This behavior is the same for both the Windows application and the web version.

Do you have exclude from home screen enabled for that library?

Apparently I did! Not sure when that was changed. But thanks for that. Don’t know if it would help others, but maybe a prompt that says, “hey–this setting over here supersedes what you’re trying to do”.
