Managed and free accounts no longer play?

Hi Plex,

I have a lifetime subscription. In addition to that, I’ve also set up an managed user so that my daughter doesn’t delete media, change settings, etc. All of a sudden, the managed account no longer plays any media. If I switch to the main plexpass account, it works fine. I’m stumped. Any suggestions?

Have you tried adding another managed account and seeing if that one has the same issues? Could be worth determining if it’s an issue with ALL managed accounts or just your daughter’s one.

I tried deleting the first managed account and creating a new one. same issue. I also tried creating a free account, friending it, and saw the same behavior. I even deleted the app on the Xbox 360, reinstalled, relinked, and saw the same thing. I’m stumped.

I’m running the latest plex pass media server on the same network. I’m connected via ethernet to that server.

I should also add that I only see this behavior on the Xbox 360s - the Xbox One and Web clients work fine.
