i just signed up for a yer and one of the plus points for me to do so was that plea pass members could add parental controls. but i cannot seem to do this on the xbox i have set up 2 users me and then a family ne mine being password and full access and the family one not passworded and limited access to media. works great on my mac as you choose user but not on x box how do i sort this please.

you need to attach your second actual plex.tv account to a different xbox live account. then the parental controls/plex home features work. it doesnt work the same way as plex web etc with the password.

yes, you need to create an xbox live account (does NOT need to be a gold account) for each plex.tv account. you can probably make one here.. http://www.xbox.com/ro-RO/live/join then you sign in with your new account and link it to your other plex.tv account and you are good to go... you may also want to secure the 'adult' xbox live & plex account with a password:

I'm confused. I have a PlexPass account. I have created 2 managed plex users within my 'home'; one requires a pin and the other does not. I see no way on the xbox360 app to switch between users within one PlexPass account like I can on the Roku.

There is still no support for managed users in either of the Xbox apps or the PlayStation apps, not sure about others. PHT, Roku, Win Phone & Win Store all support managed users. They are still working on this piece in many of the clients.
