Managed users can’t access remote Plex servers

Hi,

I’m on beta 2.0 latest. Working great except managed users can’t access remote Plex server, only my local. My primary account can add libraries to the side bar which is awesome. Not having to change servers is a great AI enhancement.

Will managed users be able to pin from other servers on the side bar like the primary account user?

Managed users can not access servers from other plex users. Only those which belong to their ‘master’ account – i.e. yours.

Is this a feature or a bug?
what is the point of having managed users and shared servers if I can not control what my kids have access to and don’t have access to? Now I am forced to switch my kids over to “my side” to watch shared programs.

I have the same issue. Only the master account can see a remote server. One can not restrict libraries from the master account. So, if the kids want to watch kids movies from a remote server, they can only do that from the master account, the same account i can not restrict the “adult” library from. This is a struggle…

managed users are for your own local content, not for someone else’s content.
