I searched for this… are there plans to add the program guide for managed users? Currently I have to program everything - would be nice to let them add recordings to the schedule (or watch live via iOS devices). Or provide a checkbox so we can manage this option…
Plex doesn’t tend to reveal their roadmap. Currently the focus is on getting live TV to more clients would be my guess. I can’t imagine that they won’t enable this for select managed users or friends, but there’s always a chance that the Plex lawyers didn’t like some of the details around the Aereo shutdown and even managed users on the same account could be construed as enabling a similar service.
Short answer, nobody knows and Plex won’t tell us until it’s pretty much done.

This ‘Plex won’t tell us’’ stuff is getting tiring. Not because they won’t tell us but because people keep stating it and people keep asking. Maybe someone should write an article for the FAQ somewhere that says don’t ask questions. Though I can see why that doesn’t go down well in a forum. Not exactly helpful is it.
I concur this would be a nice feature. My wife and I each have separate user accounts. Not the end of the world, but a bit of a pain for her to switch from her account back to the main one just to watch the live TV.
